About Made by Melissa

Hi, I'm Melissa!

Owner, baker and sole employee of Made by Melissa, a licensed home bakery based in Beacon Falls, CT. I specialize in custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other baked goods. Whether you're looking for a custom cake for a party or a tray of fresh cookies, I've got you covered. With a passion for baking, each order is made from scratch, ensuring the freshest ingredients and the highest quality for my customers. Outside of the kitchen I work full time as a registered nurse; somehow achieving my childhood dream of owning a bakery and being a nurse. Thank you for supporting my little dream.

    How to Place a Custom Order

    Order forms are located at the top of the page. There are multiple order forms for different products, please select the appropriate form.     I do not have a store front. Pick up/delivery can be coordinated any day/time of the week. Please allow 2-3 business days to responses on order inquiries. 

    Yes! Almost all of the sweet treats can be made GF and/or DF. Please note that this is not a gluten and dairy free household but I do my best to avoid cross contamination. I have a separate set of ingredients and bakeware products that I use to help limit cross contamination. 

    Yes, delivery is available within the state of CT. A delivery fee will apply based on distance from Beacon Falls, CT. 

    I operate a home bakery and there for do not have a store front. Follow along on my social media for farmers markets and pop up events!

    Yes! Please inquire directly via phone or email to get started on a tiered cake order.
